Bend on the Colligan

An oil painting by artist, Keith William Thompson of Gallery Ireland.
This was painted in my studio from sketches although I have visited this spot so many times I could paint it from memory. It is a place where my dog repeatedly dives in from the bank. The aim for this oil painting was to capture the reflections of the fleeting dappled light filtering through the trees.
