I am just a sucker for Sunscapes, which is my name for sunrises, sunsets and rainbow effects. The greatest free show on earth, surely. Clonea Strand is my local beach. Some people have the view that if you paint them, they can sometimes look a bit over the top. My view is this; fleeting light is always a challenge to paint. In minutes a sunrise can run through a whole range of colours and requires a frisky brush to capture the moment. Always though the order of colours is the same with a sunset being the reverse order of a sunrise.
