Umton Barvy Watercolor Paints Discovered

Since I started painting I have mainly used the artist quality watercolor paints made by Winsor & Newton. Sadly though, several years ago, they replaced their natural earth colors with synthetic. Recently however, I discovered beautiful Natural Earth Umton Barvy watercolors for sale on my doorstep.

Plein Air Painting Festival Award

Wexford, Ireland this year staged their third plein air festival, the largest in Europe. I took part and submitted three watercolors painted in the towns of Wexford & Enniscorthy. One of them was awarded the *Highly Commended* prize.

Today sees the end of an era. Keith and Rita Thompson were sad to see the retirement of their wholesale print company, namely Art Impressions of Ireland. It was set up to supply prints of Keith Thompson`s Watercolor paintings featuring local scenes throughout Ireland.
